My partner and I knew we wanted to get married in Palm Springs–but we had no idea how to begin. After visiting several web sites and calling our friends in the desert—we contacted Joyful Weddings & Events and from that moment on–we knew our wedding was going to be perfect and that we were in good hands.

As the Chief Concierge of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco–I am a very detail oriented person– and Joyful Weddings guided us through every step of the process with the professionalism I was seeking. They always made certain we were comfortable with what was being organized and that the wedding was going to be unique to OUR visions and expectations.

He engaged each and every one of our guests with a delightful ceremony where they too felt special and connected —and he allowed us to enjoy our wedding day without the stress of worrying about any of the details. Rev. Richard of Joyful Weddings & Events did an absolutely amazing job officiating our wedding on June 1st, 2013. What he wrote and spoke for our wedding was perfect. It was 108 in Indian Wells that day, and I had several out-of-town guests compliment that they hardly noticed the heat because they were detracted by the beautiful ceremony. He responded well to the crowd, he was completely professional, and he replied and answered all of my million e-mails quickly and thoroughly. I could not recommend him enough!!!! You will be so thankful that you used his services.THANK YOU REVEREND RICHARD FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING DAY PERFECT!!!! 😀

We are from Calgary, Canada and Richard officiated our destination wedding in California. The process with Richard was very easy and stress free despite the distance. Richard was professional and responded immediately to our questions. We wanted a unique ceremony with lots of personal touches and Richard was able to provide that for us. He interjected with warm humor in the correct places and interacted with the audience perfectly. He suggested a number of ceremony additions, which we used to personalize the ceremony. Richard was amazing. We decided to have a last-minute wedding so I called Richard up on Friday and he said he would do the ceremony for us on Sunday. He even had to drive for over an hour just to do it and he did it effortlessly! Since it was only my husband any myself in the wedding, so we were missing a witness, and Richard even provided us with a witness, a wonderful woman with who we bonded immediately. It was the perfect day, intimate, graceful, absolutely stress-free and Richard had a lot to do with making it as perfect as it gets. The best part was that after the ceremony was over, we liked him and his friend so much that we ended up having our wedding dinner with the two of them. And the price was unbelievable for all the services Richard provided. I highly recommend him!

Richard just did our ceremony, we had a blast! He’s easy-going, caring and truly interested in what’s going on and is there to give suggestions or be able to help out with anything. Great resource to have, Thumbs up!!!!
